Hideaway

Ever need to get away
When things start to get very strange
So I'll run towards the sea
Where familiar memmories comfort me

The Norma-K is now in port
The wind is right to climb aboard
To sail out on a dream
And the captain he says this to me (he says)

Lanoka Harbor do you know the place
A small town with a slowed down pace
And as I ride the breeze
The sights and sounds of it haunting me ease

A Summers' love by the ocean shore
Turned out to be so much more
When the season came to end
I said goodbye to my best friend

I packed up my car
And drove so far away
I may not return
And paused with some delay

Keep going, don't look back
The roads ahead
the nights begun
Have to break on through

There's no stopping from the past
To build a new
Now at last
Take a first step

I woke up in the morning
From sounds of the autumn's storm
But the rage is inside of me
And growing strong

All I had in the end
I just couldn't find
And if I did what I had
Was all left behind
From this hideaway
